I'm newly pregnant (10 weeks) and thinking about buying a maxi dress for a wedding I'm attending in a few weeks. I'm trying to decide if it's better to buy a maternity maxi dress and plan to wear it through the fall with a jacket or cardigan, or if I should just buy one that fits now and will fit again after giving birth.

I assume you posted on the other forum. I say buy regular non maternity wear. Maxi dresses are forgiving and I wouldn't wear them past early October.
I wore non-maternity maxis throughout my entire pregnancy. And yes, you can wear them year-round. Pair them with boots and a chunky cardigan in winter.
Buy non maternity.u dont really need maternity until about 7 mos... 2-5 mos. U can still wear regular clothes. Also u can wear them (maxis) in fall spring and summer. Ps congrats on ur expected arrival.
