The press won't talk about these but of course they'll skewer Romney. Liberal bias much?

Yawn. |
Advance copy of Romney's remarks in Isreal.
"Benjamin Netanyahu, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Isreal and the palestinians, you seek liberalization: Come here to this gate! Mr. Netanyahu, open this gate! Mr. Netanyahu, tear down this wall!" |
More like conservative delusion. Pundits aren't making Romney's trip an epic fail. Romney is the cause, and the people of England are the judges. It is sad but kind of fun to see Republicans desperately grabbing for anything that floats as they dive off of this sinking ship. Hey conservatives, you knew what you were getting when you picked the guy. |
I get that you prefer Romney over Obama, but .... "Repugnant"?! Really!?
Memo to the Republican National Committee flack department: When you hire summer interns and encourage them to post on list servs and message boards, please check that they have at least attained the Englilsh writing ability of the average high school sophomore. Thanks! |
That should be "English." It would be nice if I had the typing ability of the average HS sophomore! :< ![]() |
I agree, you over sold by saying they were "repugnant." It under cut the strength of your argument. Also, I recall reading about many of these gaffes when they happened. So your point that the press is being unfair to your guy is lost on me.Finally, the reason Romney's gaffes are news worthy is because the purpose of the trip is for him to appear diplomatic. |
You should see what Rupert Murdoch's papers are saying about it in England. OMG It's a conservative pile-on over there. |
I'm not cheering for anyone representing the US, candidate or president, to make mistakes abroad. |
What do you mean the press won't cover these? These incidents were well-covered. See all those links in that article you posted? Those are to news articles. I certainly remember the iPod and the 25 DVD incidents. Anyway, I don't think anyone's impressed by the predictable right-wing whining and attempt at misdirection. That playbook is dogeared, worn, and ineffective now. We're talking about Mitt Romney, who is fucking things up in England now, not Barack Obama, who played the dumb American three years ago. |
Yes - only one of these happened in 2012, many were over 2 years old, and they were all reported at the time they happened. If anything, the Examiner is showing its bias by republishing them now (although that's not really a big deal). But your complaint that other news outlets aren't doing the same thing just reveals what a partisan hack you a are, what with your bitching about the liberal media. It also reveals you to be quite stupid, but that can't come as a shock. |
The Examiner's pretty upfront about its bias. It's basically a fourth-tier rag that no one actually reads (or would pay for) so they pollute people's driveways with it. |
The english are laughing at romney, not obama
Romney is an embarresment, that may be what you like about him |
In return for a pen holder carved from the timbers of the sister ship of the one the White House desk is made from and a first edition of a seven-volume biography of Winston Churchill, the Mail is appalled that "Barack Obama, the leader of the world's richest country" gave Brown a box set of 25 DVDs selected by the American Film Institute.
Obama gave them dvds, i think starwars was included so maybe he got a good deal. The only issue is that american dvds don't play in britain, even more insulting is that blu-ray is the better format. Who gives dvds? http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/filmblog/2009/mar/06/obama-dvd-brown |
OP, it's nice to see that a Say-Anything Presidential Candidate is finally finding Say-Anything supporters. He needs to know you are with him for every flip and flop.
BTW in case you didn't get today's memo, Romney now says the Olympics are AWESOME and they are TOTALLY PREPARED! This is what he believed all along! |
