Please do not characterize our candy as "weird." It is no weirder than your candy. Thank you, an Asian-American person.

My apologies! I didn’t mean to offend.

No worries. I did not assume ill intent; just trying to raise awareness!

Fuyu persimmons
Sashimi-quality salmon and tuna, roe, sushi rice, seaweed (for homemade sushi)
Japanese rice crackers
Ramen -- I like jin ramen
pop n cookin candy making kits -- my kids like these as a treat/fun activity https://www.amazon.com/Popin-Cookin-Kits/s?k=Popin+Cookin+Kits
I like their ready-made food in the food court, especially the fried mackerel. Tastes amazing if re-crisped in the oven and served with rice.

I think I know the mandarins that you are talking about. Those are Jaffa oranges, and yes these are great! But I only saw these in summer time.

They have great oxtails.

Lots of the above, and this week I stocked up on:

tamarind (sauce? paste? I don't know what it's called, the kind that's liquid in a jar)
rice noodles
mama ramen (tom yum flavor, always)
fruit
sweetened condensed milk
tofu
mochi

Shelf stable basics:

fish sauce
prepared curry pastes
palm sugar
dried shrimp

My local big asian supermarket is in a majority dominican and puerto rican neighborhood, so I also got annatto, sazon, and dried pigeon peas.

Would love to buy dry shrimp and dry fish. Any suggestions on what or which type or brand to look for? Also do they sell fresh fish?

Frozen Sun ramen and frozen karaage chicken nuggets
