Another vote for Laurel Lea
https://leawills.com She is wonderful and will come to your home to meet with you (at least pre-pandemic). She did our wills about 10 years ago and has helped with several updates. She has been very generous with her time when I have had quick questions about how to title property or list insurance policy beneficiaries. |
Actually, depending on the order she was admitted, for DC, MI and GA, she could have been admitted based on reciprocity and without sitting for the exam. VA and MD do not have reciprocity with one another. So you might have only sat for 2. If I really wanted to pursue it, I have an IL license and was admitted on motion to NY. Moved to VA,I could have sought reciprocity from VA and DC based on my IL and NY license, but decided against it as the federal government just requires you to be licensed in 1 state. So, its not as hard as you make it out to be. |
| Are these attorneys licensed in DC? |
| Rose whelan helped us and was very responsive. She is in DC. |
| Another vote for Geller Law Group |
| Debby Cochran---DC, VA for sure and maybe MD |
| I have several properties that I want moved under an LLC and I need to update my will- any recommendations? |
I know it's not discrimination lmao, but are you looking for a woman owned or POC owned lawyer like OP? Or maybe both! |
| I was very pleased with Molly Garrett in Virginia. |
| The Hill Law Group and Meredith Hill. Checks both boxes. |
Someone once said "Save the Whales" doesn't mean "F*** the rest of the fish." In other words, I'm pretty sure white male lawyer will be fine. |

+1 I'm a minority, and all of this nonsense is so tiresome and has long passed the point where it is helping anyone or society. |
