Wayfair furniture assembly - do you tip?

The guy Handy sent me was very good and we started chatting. I found out how little of the assembly fee went to him when I tipped him. He gave me his card and I’m going to have him do some work for me. That opportunity to hand out his card is why he takes these low paying assembly jobs.

I tip for assembly even if I paid for it ($300 paid to Macy's for an entire bedroom set), and also offer them water.
I don't tip for carting a box into a room. If multiple flights of stairs were involved, I might.

I tip everyone who comes in the door unless it’s a licensed pro like a plumber or an electrician.
