Why do you allow pro Iranian poster to dominate most political threads?

There is already an Iran war thread. The post should have been added to that thread.

Why isn’t the new Charlie Kirk thread added to the existing CK thread? Or rather, just deleted since it’s based on the usual conspiracy theories?

It looks like there is no appropriate Charlie Kirk thread that has not been locked to which that post could be added.

Just to test your allowing opposing views, I posted a thread how it makes sense for Israel to want to demolish Iran and its proxies and how in the beginning Jews purchased land from Ottoman landowners.
You took it down within seconds. Allows opposing views, my something.

Here is the text of that post:

For decades, Iran has been funding Hamas, Hezbollah and others wanting to destroy Israel.
No, Israel has not funded Hamas, Israel allowed funds to go to Gaza for other purposes and Hamas used that money.
While escalating things too much in Gaza was very wrong, I don’t understand how some do not understand that Iran and its proxies are a matter of survival or death for Israel.
I’m likewise confused with all the reporting of how Israel stole the land in the beginning of the movement. History records show that Ottoman landlords sold the land to Jewish settlers.

You will notice that there is not a single link to support any of your allegations, several of which are either wrong or misrepresent the facts. That post is of the type that I refer to as a "tweet rather than a post". It is the sort of thing that you would post on a social media feed rather than to use to start a discussion. I probably delete 5 or more a day for the same reason (the vast majority of which have viewpoints that I suspect that you would oppose).

You don't have to play "gotcha" games with me. If you don't like my moderation, find a website that you prefer. I am sure there is no shortage.

I like proving hypocrisy, and you are a hypocrite.
Also, don’t lie Jeff, you allow plenty of no links or evidence posts if you agree with the content.
I don’t need links, I’m an academic historian and know a lot about how lands were purchased in the beginning of settlements.

I hope you enjoy being a bigot and a petty uneducated narcissist.

Some historian you are. Hezbollah is not dedicated to the destruction of Israel. Hezbollah is a movement dedicated to the defense of Shia Lebanese, none of whom live in Israel. The organization only exists as a result of Israel's 1982 invasion of Lebanon. Even Hamas modified its charter to remove the goal of destroying Israel. True, Israel did not directly fund Hamas, but it asked Qatar to provide that funding. Netanyahu was proud of this fact. It has always been the fact that Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank and Lebanese faced far more danger from Israel then Israel faced from them. To brush off Hezbollah and Hamas as nothing more than "proxies" of Iran suggests a complete misunderstanding of either organization.

You are correct that some land was sold to early Zionists. But you ignore the far greater amounts of land that were stolen from displaced Palestinians. Only a piss poor historian would be confused about that fact.

Again, I don't care about your "gotcha" posts. If I were you, I would certainly not want to put up with me. I'm surprised that you waste your time on this website.

I don't like the pro-Iranian troll either, but the pro-Israeli posters are very heavy-handed too. If they could all go away, that would be great.

DP. The poster is correct in that the VAST majority of posts on the threads dealing with Iran, Lebanon, etc. make tons of claims with zero links, or with specious links, or tweets from random people. You told me that I was annoying you with my reports, but those made up a lot of the reports. If a claim is posted, it should be backed up with a credible source. Some of these posters just throw out absurd claims and expect to be believed. It's too bad you don't have a rule on this site that credible sources must be supplied with claims. That would sure save a lot of the reporting that you hate.

You can’t make everyone happy.

Jeff, thank you for putting up with so much B.S. from crybabies blubbering about their feelings.

Jeff, any chance you could just block the "gotcha" poster? It would make life better for the rest of your users. I would think admitting that they only posted to test your moderation rather than to genuinely try and prompt a discussion would be reason enough.

Anonymous wrote:You also deleted my post agreeing with the poster who I think is the OP of this thread. You allow the most grotesque assessments of Israel, using all kinds of hateful language, and seem completely unbothered by it. You know the particular poster in question who is behind most of it, yet you let her foam at the mouth in her rabid attacks on Israel and - let's face it - Jews in general. There's no way around the fact that she absolutely hates Jews. And by allowing her to post that garbage, it seems you agree with her.

I posted that Israel definitely has much to answer for, that I'm no Zionist, and I'm also not Jewish, but the one-sidedness of the political forum is blatantly obvious. You deleted that post. Anytime someone points out Iran's atrocities, they're met with derision and sneers, and accused of "whataboutism." Ridiculous. The Islamic Republic of Iran and its proxies are terrorists, period. We should be allowed to state the obvious.

PP. I appreciated that post of yours as an ally and wondered why it was deleted.

"And here we go pretending that the overwhelming majority of israelis aren't bloodthirsty scum who never saw a genocide or a war in the ME they didn't love.

And here we go throwing in the whole "radical islam" crap when Jews aren't put to death in any f***ing Muslim country for being Jews. You absolute psychopath.

Do you get off on being as repugnant as possible? I guess you do, that's why you're a Zionist - that's the point of being one. Just endless lying and being as disgusting as possible. You think we can't just pull up countless videos of a "moderate" POS israeli being all for killing every Palestinian?"

"The Palestinian who was raped on video... the demonic "israeli" doctor testified he did it to himself and the savages who raped him were let free.

That's the "justice" system in that s-hole for sexual predators, baby-killers and pedophiles.

But please, snakes, tell us how this death penalty is only for "terrorists" when it was founded by terrorism and controlled by terrorists for 80 years.

What a cancerous, evil group. A pox on humanity for 80 years."

"Show me another society that does this.

And yet, we have to see some stupid f***ing thread about the a$$holes' "feewings" who defend this sh*t or pretend it's just some anomaly? No one on this planet should give a single sh*t about the soulless ghouls who excuse this or in any way pretend this isn't what israel has always been. They are are sick as hell and deserve nothing but hate for what they've lied about for decades. They can't hide it anymore, that's what pisses them off.

Absolute scum. Oh, sorry! You're so offended by "name-calling." F-off.

Burn in Hell with them"

"BTW, if you didn't notice, these ZIONIST NAZIS have been wearing noose pins, but let me hear about how this hurts the feeling of some Zionist on her way to Orangetheory."

What’s the explanation for allowing this to stay up?

You are not alone. What a shame this is what’s become of DCUM.

100%. Maybe WaPo will do a follow-up story about this site.

Jeff, why do you allow posters to say mean things about Israel and about the supporters who faithfully support Israel’s policies and actions? Also, why do you allow posters to reference sources of information that are no endorsed by the U.S. and/or Israel? Everyone knows those two nations never misrepresent the facts or make false claims or suppress free speech, so there’s no need to venture outside their information stack for any reason.

Jeff has allowed Iranian trolls to take over. This is just crazy.
Iranians inside and outside of Iran are against their regime, but somehow it’s ok that some crazy lunatic posts positive things about Iran.

This is my first time posting in this thread and I see zero wrong with any of it.
