I had a meeting with Mike Rabil and Jesse Cox with PLL and they are very interested and on board with creating a PLL Youth Sixes league here in the area. Might be the way to go because you can have more teams with lower enrollment numbers.

Camps and clinics, camps and clinics. Lots of touches, lots of game play after lots of drills. Do it just like the showcases just on a much lower level. This is how First Class lacrosse started. You don't need the PLL's licensing fees at this point

FCL is such a racket. Pay to play system where $ = Instagram clout and player ratings. Please don’t use them as an example for what you’re trying to do.

I am not concerned with preparing kids for college lacrosse. This will be set up more to create opportunities for kids to enter into lacrosse so the local HS programs have more than 2 experienced players entering the program every year.

Hi this is Justin Volman with Bethesda Lacrosse, I've been working with the leadership at BLC on a very similar expansion into the UpCounty region and we're starting with our first clinics on 5/31, 6/7, 6/14.
I would love to learn more about your vision and see how we can partner and collaborate.
Send me an email to volmanjustin@gmail.com and let's find time for a call.
100% agree it starts with the youth/rec pipeline.
We'll be doing 3 clinics at Robertson Park in Gaithersburg on 5/31, 6/7, and 6/14.
These 3 clinics will have 2 sessions, 1 is our Scoopers session for kids 4 years old to Kindergarten, and the 2nd is our Intro clinic with kids ages Kindergarten to 8th Grade.
Scoopers is from 1-145pm, and the Intro Clinic is from 2-3pm.
Here is the link to register: https://wwwbethesdalacrosse.org/boys-clinics.
If you are interested in signing your child up or if you can share it with anyone who may be interested in signing up, that would be much appreciated.

Is this for girls, boys or both?

Just boys for the first one but we'd like to create a similar youth/rec infrastructure for both girls and boys in the future in the UpCounty

You are now one month out of planning. There needs to be a 30-60-90 day plan of camps and clinics. Constantly forward plan with fields always first, then find a pipeline of young guys who can work the camp. Staffing never becomes static.
