Should Trump be charged with treason?

Treason has a very narrow definition and Jan 6 wasn't quite there. Having said that he should have been convicted on that second impeachment - Mitch McConnell failed us.

We are a couple weeks in. Typical Democrat mentality: if it’s hard, quit.

Sure. LBJ prolonged it. RMN ended it.

We won every single battle. Yet we lost the war.

You're a tool. You have no idea what sunk cost fallacy is. This is exactly what Robert Pape is talking about with his escalation trap thesis.

We are a couple of weeks into something that wasn’t voted on in Congress and that shouldn’t have happened, a disaster created by someone that, in other circumstances, would be in an institution or other supervised environment.
Typical Republican mentality: Screw things up, blame someone else, and wait for the adults in the room to fix things.
The party of decision-makers who lack the cojones to wear shoes that fit.

Treason does not mean what you apparently think it means.

Congress will not do crap.

He’s a lying, cheating, convicted criminal.

No one does anything.

Move on.

I doubt any of the old guard offenders will do so. Hegseth, Noem, Bondi, Kushner, all these people better watch out. Miller is too clever by half, and despite guiding the worse hate crime policies since Japanese internment, will get off scot-free, since he merely has an "advising role".

Not so fast. He needs to be charged with war crimes.

Our brilliant legal eagles should be able to figure out a way.
