I love Ireland. I went in the off season and it was great. Took a direct flight from Dulles. The Irish are so friendly. I can't wait to go back. |
not "big cities" but hugely popular tourist destinations - not cheap flight and hotel |
| Spain |
If you have enough flexibility with dates, that is. |
+1 |
I live in DMV and go to Hawaii 2-3 times per year. Will be there tomorrow, as a matter of fact! |
Fist bump guys! We only went to Hawaii once but stayed 5 nights at Grand Hyatt Kauai and 1 week in Oahu and it was fabulous! |
+1 I would totally give my tourist dollars to Canada. Beautiful in summer. Same time zone. |
| I regularly go to Brazil. There is much more than Rio and Sao Paulo with a quick trip to see either Salvador or Iguaçu. |
. Me too. Canada is gorgeous. Just don’t spend more than a day or two in either Montreal or Quebec City. Not necessary. British Columbia, Nova Scotia or somewhere more scenic would be ideal. |
| I can't remember the price, but we jumped on some Lisbon flights that were pretty cheap a couple of years back. Once we were there, the lodging, food, and activities were all pretty reasonable. Took a train up to Porto for a few days. Had a great time. |
| Ireland sometimes has less expensive flights. |
I'd also love to know. I've been 6 times and lived in Latin America for over a decade and it is one of my least favorite countries. |
It’s Colombia, not Columbia. |
| I just got a flight to Milan for late march fo just over $500 |
