I love Ireland. I went in the off season and it was great. Took a direct flight from Dulles. The Irish are so friendly. I can't wait to go back.

I mean, you can find bargains in every big city if you look hard enough, including Paris.

not "big cities" but hugely popular tourist destinations - not cheap flight and hotel

If you have enough flexibility with dates, that is.

Yes, and to make it even cheaper, road trip there. Staying in Vermont on the way is a nice option.

I live in DMV and go to Hawaii 2-3 times per year. Will be there tomorrow, as a matter of fact!

Fist bump guys! We only went to Hawaii once but stayed 5 nights at Grand Hyatt Kauai and 1 week in Oahu and it was fabulous!

I would totally give my tourist dollars to Canada. Beautiful in summer. Same time zone.

I regularly go to Brazil. There is much more than Rio and Sao Paulo with a quick trip to see either Salvador or Iguaçu.

.

Me too. Canada is gorgeous. Just don’t spend more than a day or two in either Montreal or Quebec City. Not necessary. British Columbia, Nova Scotia or somewhere more scenic would be ideal.

I can't remember the price, but we jumped on some Lisbon flights that were pretty cheap a couple of years back. Once we were there, the lodging, food, and activities were all pretty reasonable. Took a train up to Porto for a few days. Had a great time.

Ireland sometimes has less expensive flights.

What are some of your favorite places to stay or things to do in El Salvador? I would love to visit.

I'd also love to know. I've been 6 times and lived in Latin America for over a decade and it is one of my least favorite countries.

Or stay in the US, there’s so much to see and do.

If you’re craving a beach, Florida and Cancun/playa del Carmen Mexico will have cheaper flights. Also Puerto Rico.

It’s Colombia, not Columbia.
