We all have free will in this country. So GO!

Well if you need a high powered job and really don't mind making $350-400k but never seeing your kids cause you're always working - the US is awesome. I lived this life and hate it now. I'm OK paying pretty much the same amount in taxes as I do now for everything under the sun but knowing my taxes do zero for me - in order to not worry about healthcare, my kids taken care of in public ed through college and most infrastructure all set. Plus I have the benefit of likely better options to travel locally in both Asia and Europe.

Dollar for dollar, you may balk at high taxes abroad but that money goes exactly where you need it to go - taking care of everyone in that country. Dollar for dollar, we Americans pay much more because our taxes go to the US govt, it's wherever they want to spend. We have to pay to take care of ourselves IN ADDITION to taxes. Everything here is about profit so our standard of living is crazy high.

Again - you can live really well but I always say - time is money!

Everyone can move here but Americans can't really up and move to other countries like that.

Sure will be hard for the basement dwelling white boys to make the project 2025 babies then. Where will the billionaires get their labor from?

What percentage of women vote against their own interests?

Being an immigrant is tough. I’m desperate to leave but nicer places don’t want Americans and getting a visa let alone citizenship is an uphill battle.

Just go and overstay your visa. People here do it all the time and are celebrated. Just go somewhere with a one way ticket. What could go wrong?

One of my friends did this, she was planning on marrying a British citizen. He tried to move to the US but couldn't find a job. They both moved back to England when he found a position there and she was illegally employed in her profession months before they got married.

They've never moved back to the US and don't plan to at this point.

Do that or some of these women should go have some anchor baby somewhere with birthright citizenship.

Yes, you can do that anywhere. Every country just lets people in & lets them stay as long as they want.

And don’t forget to ask for your free housing, medical, & debit card.

And if you go to college, don’t you dare let them charge you anything but the same or less than they charge their citizens.

And the most important thing is to throw a public fit if you don’t get everything you want.

Have lots of kids too and get excited about all the diversity they will be adding to their communities that will be readily welcomed. I'm sure universities will roll out the red carpet and push them to the front of the line too in front of native born citizens.

And if none of that works, scream racism, sexism, or national privilege hoping to guilt and gaslight your way to the goodies you deserve just for being You.

I don't understand why Americans want to move to, particularly Europe so badly given they pay higher taxes for public services and earn a whole lot less overall. All the high-skilled people limited by their market in Europe move to the United States to earn more than they do in the old continent.

Europe doesn't have free speech or freedom of religion.

people who say 'all talk no action' are so so so so so so dumb.

THIS is why america is going to fail. Not because of all the things 'wrong' with it (although those too) but because americans biggest achilles heel by far is a complete inability to accept and process feedback and constructive criticism.

As someone who moved abroad learned a ton about other cultures and gained a new perspective on the USA - both the bad and the good - definitely just go. Stop talking about it and not doing a damn thing about it walk your talk. You can always come back. Trust me. The grass is NOT greener.

I have enough money and privilege that it doesn't matter for me at 40.

I've also lived in many western and non-western countries that are much worse for women. So I don't believe the grass is greener in another country you just don't understand the depths of systemic oppression of women.

I absolutely hate thinking about all of the women in the US that are trapped with no resources.

Which country do they plan to move to? Make sure they will pass out working visas.
