Bryce Courtenay

Abraham Verghese

Verghese is great but does not have a lot of books. He has 4 total and sometimes goes years between publishing.

Anthony Trollope wrote something like 47 novels and MANY of them are over 500 pages. I've read about 25 of them and love his writing so much.
