An observation on how to drastically reduce stress and fights w/ DC during college apps

Imo, the best way to avoid stress with your kid is to outsource the process. We did not do that, but most of our friends hired private counselors. These parents paid a lot and were informed but stayed out of the process. So much easier to have a third party create a narrative and set and monitor the deadlines. Many of those private counselors frequently encourage kids to shoot lower for ED so they can claim success and be done early. Those are also the same families that can afford those super fancy winter holidays to celebrate...

You post this nonsense constantly...and it's fairly clear these aren't people you know at all, but rather some weird characterization of people who went to SEC schools.

The only thing different about today's post is you no longer have them driving Cybertrucks because you realized that almost nobody purchased a Cybertruck and its now officially a huge bust with thousands gathering dust on lots.

That he/she posts like it’s something to aspire to kills me. A dumb southern SAH wife and tailgating at 50…while it’s still 90 degrees and humid in the parking lot and he’s got swap@ss down in sh@tsville.

I’d be seriously ready to check out if anybody told me I’d have to move to the south.
