No, there's really smart kids at Robo who successfully complete the IB diploma (not easy). I'd expect them to have comparable numbers of commended as LB, Woodson, WS, etc

Side note, but I'm always amused by the thing where people say merely "completing" the IB Diploma is some huge accomplishment. In other countries, people try to get good grades on the exams, too!

I am happy to see so many semi-finalists.
However, I am more concerned about the other end of the spectrum. How many are not passing? How many are taking AP tests and not scoring well on those?
How many kids are dropping out?

That is the true test of a school system. The National Merit kids are great and at the very top of the spectrum. However, I fear the numbers at the other end are far greater.
