A rich Dubai lady made "Dubai chocolate" by adding pistachio-tahini filling and kunafa (fried phyllo dough shreds) in milk chocolate.
Sorry, but it is quite below average. And quite expensive. |
| I was underwhelmed. Much prefer the Royce Nama chocolates from Japan. |
| the lindt is really good. we were in Spain a month ago and it's all over there and cheaper than in the US. tried many different kinds |
People (really: girls and women, mostly) are making videos with the filling gushing out all over their faces and hands as they bite into it while trying to look saucy |
|
Um…. It’s a plot by the Dubai government to keep the true meaning of Dubai chocolate (which is definitely sexual and kinky) from being the top search result.
Which isn’t to say it isn’t delicious. Tin foil hat off. |
| My CvS had them by the checkout. Seems pretty basic at this point. |
| Why is it so expensive?? |
|
I was confused for a while but a friend explained it to me. It is just chocolate with pistachio cream and the shredded phyllo dough.
It is delicious, I do really like it and find it to be a special treat. |
If the OP’s daughter refuses to tell her what it means, then her daughter is not talking about a chocolate bar they sell at Lidl. No, it’s not that. It’s a new TikTok thing. And god help you if she ever refers to Dubai potty. You really do not want to look that one up. |
| It has pistachios in it. It’s a big thing in Europe right now |
| Sometimes a food is just a food. |
| Chocolate + pistachio |
If it were only a food, then OP’s daughter would not have refused to tell her what it means. She isn’t telling you what it REALLY means. |
You don’t want to know, trust me. |
| It’s delicious but not expensive in many forms. It’s been trendy for at least a year. |
