Why the stigma against Peruvians in Latin America and here in the USA?

It's asian/indigenous racism

This.

Also, many people from south of here hate other people from south of here. Similar to how Americans and Brits have a rivalry. Or Canadians and Americans hate each other.

“Canadians and Americans hate each other?” This might be a YOU thing, or a You People thing. I don’t hate Canadians, and don’t know anyone who has negative opinions about Canada or Canadians — barring the occasional joking sports rivalry.
My visits to Canada have all been lovely, the Canadians I know personally are wonderful people, and a significant chunk of my disposable income has allowed me to purchase some of my favorite things from Canada and Canadian companies.

On the other hand, if any Canadians are hating American right now, well, I completely understand.

Oh good lord. Life must be rough for you if you cannot understand what "generalities" are all about.

WTF? Brazil is full of Bolsonistas too but it doesn’t define the entire country.

Is this really why you think there are Asians in Peru?

Peru has more of an indigenous population than some South American countries like Argentina so I think they catch some racist shade from some South Americans for this. Also, many decades ago there were lots of poorer Peruvian immigrants fleeing the political instability. Now it seems like the Venezuelans catch more shade because there are a lot of economic refugees from Venezuela flooding other South America countries.

My Colombian neighbor, Gloria, told me Peruvians trip over goats and kill people in the street.

Neighboring countries can stereotype and look down their nose at one another.
