should I be concerned about neighbor's solar panels?

Anonymous
OP, I would hate to live next door to solar panels and I certainly would not want them right adjacent to my roof.

Yes, they can catch on fire. I dated someone whose company shut down for a few days due to a fire on the roof rom solar panels.

My main issue with them, however, is that they, or maybe it's the accompanying mechanisms they come with, make an annoying whirring, humming noise. Not very detectable but drives me batty.

So yeah. I would not be happy.

While I'm aware this is a win for green energy, I wonder if it is like sleeping next to/under big power lines. I found an article about EMF radiation, which notes that radiation from the panels themselves appears to be small, but it sounds like there are issues with meters and the inverter. Can anyone who knows the issue well advise? We just bought this house and it is not what I wanted to see.

Are you a troll or just dim OP? Solar panels are a good thing. There is no evidence that solar panels emit harmful radiation. Stop reading "articles" that aren't from legitimate, peer-reviewed journals.

And learn something about property rights--you just bought a house--you have no control over your neighbor's actions.

This is why you need ro build a thick tin foil hat. There are some tutorials online.

There are much cheaper and faster methods that work better than doing that.

Ever thought that that actually means? It's a "you scratch my back and rate me good, and I will scratch yours and rate you good as well!"

It's an older form of Yelp ratings. Useless for the most part.
