I'll add Gettysburg to your list. It was one of those movies that I couldn't stop thinking about for a couple of weeks afterward. OP, I know you didn't ask for documentaries, but just as an aside. . . Ken Burns' series, Vietnam, is phenomenal. The first episode on the political/colonial background was a bit slow, but a few episodes into it and I couldn't help but binge watch the whole thing. Then couldn't stop thinking about it for a long time afterward. |
