Rockville pool and neighborhood community pools are very different. It's a big loss for the neighborhood.

That and the Rays are already at max capacity and waitlisted. We should totally require Rays and RMSC to support Rockville swimmers first.

Are the Rays at capacity or is RMSC at capacity? It’s important to remember these teams are TOTALLY unrelated.

Saying that the are "TOTALLY unrelated" - is a stretch if you're completely honest. The are different entities but because of the location, coaching and participating swimmers, saying they are "TOTALLY unrelated" completely ignores the obvious and discounts why it's so easy for the uninformed to conflate the two.

What does this even mean? There are other public swim teams.

Angry because your kid did not get into rmsc? Anyone can sign up for the rays.

How have you been, old friend? You’ve been gone a while, I’m glad summer swim has brought you back! I’m only disappointed you didn’t weave an IMX reference in.

It’s awkward that Woodley Gardens is pretty much equally far from all the public pools.

Maybe Rockville can have two teams in MCSL.

They need to raise quite a bit of $$

$250,000 by the end of this year, and several million more in the coming years? Yikes.

They already do, it's called Woodley Gardens, they practice at RSFC.

Will that be the practice plan for 2026 as well?

I wish it were just snark, but I hope not.
