My job is leveraging so to replace manual processes, most of the work federal workers do related to forms and compliance can be replaced with AI

The ignorant unprofessional doge dolts are asking program directors how accounting works in the federal government. Program directors don’t know - they rely on federal staff that deal with the accounting and regs. And it’s clear that non of these doge dolts are accountants. Or even know any generally accepting accounting procedures that all federal agencies follow - see GAO Greenbook for more info.

If the ignorant doge dolts would go talk to the accountants - or learned anything about accounting prior to thinking they are accountants - or would have talked to the IGs prior to firing them all - they would know every cent is counted in federal systems.

For example, I worked with an IG federal forensic accountant that tried to get a state to pay back less than $80 on a $20m award because they had used state per diem not federal per diem. Finally backed down and let the state have $ when shown fed regs that allow states to use their own laws/regs for purchasing and contracting. And the state’s per diem was $8 or so more than federal per diem. And this kind of thing happens all the time…and there are often disallowed costs. Every contract/award is counted to the penny in federal financial management systems. And those systems are run by acquisition and financial assistance experts. See USASpening for more info.

These doge dolts may know how to code and mine data - but they have no idea about accounting. And they think USASpending is the extent of money tracking. And they have no idea how a large organization runs. And Elon is the ignorant know-it-all jerk at the top they idolize and emulate. And he very clearly is a marketing/spin expert and not operational at all.

I hope all of them spend time in federal jail for all the illegal actions they are taking. And there are illegal actions being taken by all the doge dolts on a daily if not hourly basis.

Except, they haven't actually replaced anyone with AI yet.

The librarians were all fired and all journal databases were cancelled, so we have zero access to information we need to do our jobs. Not replaced by AI.

The HR staff was fired and not replaced by AI.

The project managers were fired and not replaced by AI.

Many of the IT people were fired and not replaced by AI.

And you IT people to use AI and HR people to fire those you are going to replace with AI. No one needs to tell me a 19 year old did this, it's pretty obvious.

We are down three people on my team at work. If they could be replaced with AI, it would have happened already. Faith in technology is crazy. So many people think AI is a panacea. It’s in its infancy. It’s like the commador 64 right now.
