So, it's cruel to make this woman leave her U.S. citizen baby behind in the U.S., but it's also cruel to allow the other mom to take her US citizen daughter with her out of the U.S.?

What exactly do you people want ICE to do with minor U.S. children of deported adults? Or are you just making a big deal because it's Trump's administration and your job is to complain no matter what?

You nailed it! I’m independent and the outrage from Democrats is exhausting. Republicans don’t act like this. Why?

Because they lack empathy.

I'm the PP who posted about the irony of responses here. So, what do you think anybody calls her? Do we rip U.S.-born children from deported parents or do we let the parents take their U.S. citizen children with them?

^^Meant to write "what do you think empathy calls for here?"

Let everyone stay of course.

how hard is that?

do you really believe that these folks don't know what they are doing??

Who are you even talking about? She is not illegal.

The cruelty is absolutely the point. No doubt about it.

FWIW, I haven't commented on the other thread and think that this is much worse.

It is also for scare tactics so people won’t want to come. Trump loves all the publicity because he wants the message Togo out jf you are an immigrant don’t come - unless you are a Slavic model.

Yes. I voted for this.

Elian Gonzalez would like a word with the Dems.

No. Getting illegal aliens out of this country is the point.
But, for some reason, the Democrats are vehemently opposed to deporting murderers, gang members, and international criminals. They are probably thinking that getting illegal aliens our of country means they will lose Reps in the House due to apportionment. Too bad.
Thankfully, some jurisdictions are actually working with the government to rid our country of these criminals.

has obtained some of the ICE arrests from Operation Tidal Wave, a massive operation in FL w/ ICE & FL law enforcement partnering to make 800 arrests in 4 days this week, including a Colombian murderer, MS-13 & 18th Street members, & a Russian w/ Interpol Red Notice for manslaughter.

JOSE SANCHEZ REYES, a Colombian illegal alien who entered the U.S. as a gotaway. Sanchez Reyes was convicted of homicide in Colombia.

RAFAEL JUAREZ CABRERA, a Guatemalan illegal alien & MS-13 gang member who has illegally re-entered the U.S. three times and has been convicted of felony re-entry.

SAVVA KLISHCHEVSKII, a Russian illegal alien who has an Interpol Red Notice out of Russia for Vehicular Manslaughter.

Aron Isaak MORAZAN-Izaguirre, a Honduran illegal alien & known or suspected terrorist member of the 18th Street gang who has illegally re-entered the U.S. two times.

Operation Tidal Wave is still ongoing, as Florida continues to partner tightly with ICE to cooperate with and enhance the Trump administration’s mass deportation agenda.

I wonder if her husband voted for Trump? Probably.

How about working on more of those violent gang members ICE? You know, instead of moms and children.

This list of folks arrested/detained by ICE sounds great. But what do the profiles of these people have to do with the breastfeeding mom married to a US citizen who is the subject of this thread?

You voted for mothers in the process of acquiring US citizenship to be separated from their babies and US citizen husbands?

Anonymous wrote:In a new low, the Trump administration deported a Cuban woman who is married to a US citizen--the woman has an infant daughter she is still breastfeeding. Cue the MAGA trolls on this forum who will no doubt say: "I voted for this!"

The woman was detained at her check-in appointment with ICE in a Tampa office. She was apparently trying to go through the required steps to adjust her legal status. A family lawyer and a US Rep. tried to intervene but were unsuccessful.

Her deportation has been so sudden and traumatic for their infant daughter, still breastfeeding and with ongoing health issues, that her grandmother was taking her to the hospital, he said in a phone interview on Friday. “The baby is distressed and does not want to eat,” Valle said. “Imagine, they ripped the child from her mother’s arms at the immigration office; the cries of that woman in there could be heard back in Cuba,” he said, speaking of his wife’s desperation at being separated from her daughter.
