Are you sure that St Andrew's trains on their own? That's not the impression I had talking to one of the students who competes with the team and its coach. |
| St. Andrew's has an Equestrian team, but I believe they train out in Poolesville at one of the barns there. |
| AHC has equestrian but it’s not the same as a program like Foxcroft where your horse can live on campus. |
St. Andrew's does not support the equestrian team. It operates on its own without any connection to the Athletic Department. The head of the Athletic Department can't even answer questions about the team. He refers you to the coach who is a volunteer and not an employee of the school. The students only meet on zoom and communicate on-line with her. They meet in-person for shows only. We were very disappointed with the whole thing. If we knew that it was like that, our daughter would have chosen another school. |
| Close in(ish), Madeira is definitely the choice for equestrian. |
| Oldfields. |
| Would your daughter be interested in boarding? I think Garrison offers some non full time options for sports seasons, programs, etc. |
