Agree with adding Tate Modern to the itinerary. Then walk across Millennium Bridge to St. Paul’s Cathedral and do the self-guided audio tour; it’s an incredible building.
Both would work well with your Wednesday plans, as you’ll be in the general vicinity. |
Broadway is closer. I've enjoyed myself both on Broadway and West end. |
The Uber boats are fun on their own, even if you’re just riding it to ride it .

My young adult daughter is more interested in the Harry Potter stuff than my teens. HP was SO big 15-20 years ago that it really defined her childhood and she was very very into it. My teens are sort of “meh” on HP—more into Percy Jackson or anime or whatever. Also, on the Globe, if she’s a Shakespeare fan at all, I think it’s worth it especially if you can see a show. It’s just don’t so differently there — we saw a comedy and it was like a totally different thing than how it’s done in America. More raunchy, more playing to the rafters, more interactive. But for a non Shakespeare fan, it might not be top of list. For the British museum, I liked the rock Steve’s audio tour. There may be better ones but that one wasn’t bad. It was a 90 minute tour but I paused it a lot to look at other things as I went so took me more like 2 hours. I assume she’ll want to ship also but I honestly don’t know where to suggest for that. |
