I find the Clare V moyen messenger to be the right size for daily use. I have it in three colors and keep a little zip pouch inside for small items that I can move between purses. Fits glasses and sunglasses cases, wallet, roll up nylon shopping tote and the little bag for chapstick, keys, etc.

Adding that although it’s more than $250, you can find them like new on eBay and poshmark. I also swap out for a thicker crossbody strap if I have heavier items like a water bottle with me for the day

Thread Bumper, can I just say I really appreciate you? You describe is my ideal everyday bag (cross body, with a zipper, to carry necessities) and I also currently carry a D&B and would like something else.
