I think it's weird that queer eye replaced bobby

Re-watching Seasons 5-9 in a row has made me realize how much (disproportionately how much) screen time Karamo has been getting as the seasons progress and how much I now want to fast-forward through his segments. I liked him in the first few seasons, but he's been getting featured too much in the past few seadons, and it often seems forced.

Season 9 in particular is annoying because Karamo gets approximately 30% of the screen time and even when it's not "his turn," he's showing up, adding his input. It's weird when he talks over Bobby or Jeremiah as they talk about the interior design and remodeling, over Tan as he helps the heroes with fashion and style, or over JVN or Antoni as they work with the heroes.

I'm hoping that Season 10 is better, with each of the Fab 5 getting their appropriate time. I think Jeremiah should get the most screen time (25%+), Antoni, Tan, and JVN should get the next most, depending on the hero's needs, and Karamo should get the least time. If a hero needs lots of therapy, Karamo should refer the person to a private, licensed therapist rather than trying to conduct (often force) a therapy session on.screen.

agree, and I also fast-forward parts with Karamo...his segments are boring

Apparently at one point they had all agreed to call it quits and move on.. Bobby went out and got another job, but the others all changed their minds and decided to return to the show, but Bobby couldn’t due to other commitments. But he definitely was surprised and upset that the others made that decision and left him out of it.

I really liked Bobby - both his personality and his designs. But I have always loved Jeremiah and I think he’s a great addition. They can get rid of JVN and Karamo, as far as I’m concerned.

That's so sad about Bobby. Meanies.

The one I could let go of is Antoni. He is so snobby and adds nothing to the transformation.

I’ve actually read a couple of interviews with Antoni and he comes across as really humble and genuine. I agree he doesn’t add a lot. I think the ones who make the biggest difference are Tan, Jeremiah, and JVN (even though it sounds like he can be a jerk in real life).

I don't understand why JVN's clothes are always so ill-fitting. How can they be so critical of others while looking so rumpled and misshapen?

While I miss Bobby, Jeremiah is lovely! His freshness to the format may be the best thing about this series. I do think this should be the last season with the current line up. It would be great to rotate some of the cast every few seasons.

Karamo is the worst.
