I see men who don’t see a need to sweep every day are called “helpless” then a woman who can’t even replace a light switch calling a handy man competent. |
Yep that’s it…but hey, hope your adult kid living in your basement is nearing brain maturity…maybe at 40 it will happen. |
It never happened for you so who knows. But he can change the light switch, and change the oil and install a garbage disposal and hang drywall, replace a roof. Can u? |
| Because society has reprogrammed us to focus on girls, because supposedly they are at a disadvantage, and this has now transformed them to be at an advantage over our poor boys, who are very much at a disadvantage now and being ignored and passed over for things. #savetheboys |
| (I hope y'all know that was sarcasm and I'm not a #boymom) |
I am not real interested in changing the oil…but yeah I can do all the household chores you mention. I can also fix all the home computers and network issues and print 3D parts to fix things that break around the house. I wouldn’t try to replace the roof. This begs the question…WTF can’t your kid get a decent job if they in fact can replace the roof? |
Ugh. Many societies value boys more than girls and treat them in this manner. |
Why are you so incompetent you have to hire people to do basic things? Are you saying roofers is not a decent job? |
Funny…I just said I can do all these basic things but I guess you can’t read. Being a roofer is a great job…so I am confused. If your kid is capable then why are you throwing him under the bus and saying he doesn’t have a mature brain? You have some strange problems. Also, please write in complete sentences…sounds like your brain needs to mature as well. |
| This must be generational. I can’t think of a single friend from HS in the 1980’s who wasn’t expected and ready to live in a dorm or an off-campus apartment. |
This is possibly the dumbest thing I've read on the internet in a week. And that's saying something. |
He’s not really interested in doing laundry like your not interacting in ch as aging oil. Bfd. |
NP. Changing the oil is one every few weeks/months depending on driving habits. Laundry is a several times per week thing. How do men not understand this? Do y’all really think those once per week (trash) or months (oil changing) tasks are equal in time and effort to things that need to be done several times daily or weekly? |
This makes a lot of sense! |
You are really making your kid sound bad. Sounds like a man child where you still do his laundry and other daily household chores and somehow excuse this as normal behavior. Oh yeah…it’s just that his brain isn’t mature enough to do laundry. |
