I only eat avocado oil mayo. The only brands are Primal kitchen which is lowest price at Costco, or Chosen Foods.
They both taste good to me. But the old style mayos that are soy oil based taste about 30% better. Kewpie is good but is soy oil |
It has soybean oil in it, too. |
nothing wrong with msg. |

Primal Kitchen

Causes migraines in some people. |
| The one from Primal Kitchen is vile. Cannot eat it. I have been looking for one without soy or canola and cannot find them. |
| Might be able to purchase one from your local delicatessen or farmer's market. |
There are only 2 brands. They taste fine to me. Your only other options is make it at home using a recipe. Google a recipe for mayo. |
| Sir Kensington, classic one definitely doesn’t have soybean oil |
First ingredient is Sunflower Oil. Not as bad as soybean, but not as good as olive or avocado |
Just as bad as soybean oil |
| I just saw an olive oil Dukes at Harris Teeter - didn’t examine ingredients but get you can check online. |
Kewpie DOES have MSG. It's literally right in the ingredients on the bottle... |
Kewpie contains soybean oil and msg. Yeast extract, vegetable extract - these all contain glutamates, including msg. So anything you eat that contains yeast extract, hydrolised vegetable protein, vegetable extract all contain msg. It’s just an amino acid. |
