Does Jill Biden have a “cause”?

At least Jill Biden likes decorating for Christmas.

I though we were past slut shaming.

Nope. You go low so we go lower.

Guess people are disappointed the new first lady doesn't have butt naked pics on the internet.

Do you think people want to see risqué pictures of FLOTUS?

Biden was also a model, just not a nude model.

Center independent here. Jill Biden teaches, so she has a job unlike any FLOTUS before her. She doesn't need a cause, which first ladies take on strictly for PR reasons. They achieve nothing.

She looks fine for her age, actually better than most.

The only irritating thing about her is referring to herself as doctor. The only people with doctorates whom I know who do this are ones with doctorates in education. among the very easiest to earn. It must be some sort of occupational hazard.

Gawd, still wearing those hideous floral dresses.

Yes, she's great and beautiful too.

ok, so what exactly is the problem with Jill? I think she is lovely. Dresses nicely, especially for a woman her age. The person claiming she looks bad next to the spanish princess is crazy. I mean, sure, she might have worn a one color dress, but there is nothing wrong with what she is wearing at all-she looks put together.

seems like a dim bulb, but a well meaning person.

It's 2022. Why are we STILL talking about what politicians--or their wives--look like?!

Oh, I forgot, we're slipping back in time to the 1950s, when there was no political correctness and you could say whatever you wanted about women and no one would bat an eye...

The braying of an insufferable donkey's posterior.

I find her refreshing because she is representative of the majority of American women. The first First Lady to work out of White House. I suspect people like you are just jealous because you are such an abysmal failure in every aspect of your sad, pitiful existence.

You don’t know me. My degree is in clinical psychology. I work in hospitals and educational settings. It’s “doctor”. In my field it’s very much an occupational tradition.

What exactly has she accomplished in regard to military families? We are 27+ years active duty here in DC area and she’s had zero impact as far as I can see.

Conceding for the sake of argument that she hasn't "accomplished" anything.

But is that a requirement? From what I can tell no first lady ever has ever done anything other than "bring awareness" at best. And if they ever did "accomplish" anything, I'm sure that accomplishment is being evaluated in hindsight, and not with less than two years under their belt.

I give Laura Bush credit for the National Book Festival, and Hillary Clinton credit for getting things started with universal health care.
I give Lady Bird Johnson much credit for the tulips — and other “beautification “ projects. Betty Ford and Jackie Kennedy both brought significant attention to their issues and projects as well. Those are just the ones that stand out to me — because of my own interests.
I don’t think having a project should be a requirement, but it seems like a shame to have an opportunity like that and not enjoy putting a focus on something both of interest and potentially beneficial.

I find her annoying. But she looks great, dresses well, and represents the US in a dignified way. I thought Pence's wife needed to get it together, but Jill is doing fine in the appearance front. She needs to work on her Spanish, but that's the only fault I can find with her.

Unintentionally, just her existence is effective at exposing the bitter people out there whose lives are so sad they have to drag anyone who shows interest in and compassion for others.

I have a lot of respect for her, which I won’t attempt to justify here. She can carry her head high.

She can't even compare to Melania's fashion and speech skills. She has a FT job and no nude photos...I don't know why U care about her. A teacher no less. Worthless, I tell U!
