| Now a year later, are there any updates? Are HOS and other leaders firmly entrenched? Descriptions of the conflict are very vague - Can anyone provide a specific example of a policy or action that is contributing to the controversy? |
| Leadership is still firmly entrenched, and as far as I know, still answers to no one. What folks need to understand is that there isn’t a single conflict but a culture of toxicity driven by the leadership that affects all aspects of the school. One previous poster in this thread said something like “if I told you all the stories you wouldn’t believe me,” and it’s true. There is a long list of families and former staff who have been traumatized in one way or another. I wish I could be more specific, but it’s such a small school that *anything* would be identifiable, and leadership monitors this site. |
| 148 students PK-12 works out to about 10-11 kids per grade. Seems like it would be a challenge to run at those numbers. |
| Your numbers are not inaccurate. And a quick look at their 990 shows that they spent more than they took in last year. |
What are the accurate numbers, then? Niche says 150 total in pk-12. If that’s not correct, what is, and what’s your source? |
| I said “not inaccurate.” Meaning you are correct. Although I do think those numbers are a little high. |
The 990 says 113 students and cash on hand decreased by $130k. |
There seems to have been a shakeup and the HoS was asked to leave. So hopefully they can turn things around! |
Oh how I hope this is true! It’s about damn time! My family fled in 2020. I can’t believe it took this long for something to happen. |
| It's true! |
| This website...why all of the pictures of kids and parents dressed like it's 1795? I know it seems like we're right back there, but why is the co-splaying of slave owners so front and center? |
