| Duh unless they have worse memory than dogs. My dogs remember my dad when he comes to visit after 3 plus months. |

Our four cats were glad to see us. Extra affectionate and follows me around more than usual. We were gone for three weeks. They play with their sitter, house sitter and with each other so it’s not like they get lonely.
There is nothing like being followed around by a herd of cats although sometimes I think they are actually plotting to kill me especially going down the stairs. |
