Dentist Recommendation - Downtown DC

I've done tons of research and it seems that almost none of the downtown dentists accept insurance anymore. I've stuck with our less than stellar dentist for several years because they accept our insurance, but they have made enough billing mistakes over the years that I consider their errors to be fraudulent (same "mistakes" over and over even though we've pointed them out several times). In any case, I'm not impressed with them medically anyway. I tried another of the few dentists that still accepts insurance and arrived to find an office with no receptionist and equipment older than my childhood dentist used. At this point, I just want a good dentist and no longer care if they accept insurance. Any recommendations for a good dentist with modern equipment in downtown DC would be greatly appreciated! TIA
