Acupuncture tipping?

Anonymous
I've never done acupuncture before, but am going to try it in a few weeks. Is it like a massage, where it is customary to tip 20%? Or is it considered more like a "doctor's appointment" type of thing, where you don't tip? I assume it's the former, but thought I'd check ... Thanks!

I always considered it medical and never tipped. Never crossed my mind.

Agreed. My acupuncturist bills my insurance. It is medical, not spa.

No, you don't tip an accupuncturist. It is considered medical, along the lines of a chiropractor.

Wow, I'm really glad I asked. Thank you!

You do not tip. The tipping for everything is absurd. Next. docotors, lawyers, dentists will be expecting tips.
