Israel Radio broke the story earlier in the week, which was confirmed by sources inside Israel, but never mentioned again.


(WASHINGTON DC) - Was there an assassination attempt on U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton while she was on an official visit to Israel.

According to Israel Radio and Reuters, there was.

The sourcing on this is very weak. The story above originated from a newspaper in India which cites Reuters and Israel Radio. But, nobody else seems to have picked up those original reports.

All media in Israel is subject to government censorship which can result in stories disappearing. But, if the story was on Reuter's wire, it would be pretty hard to pull it back.
