DCUM's running NRA GUN ADVERTISING Appropriate?

Anonymous
Click on any gun related post and NRA Gun rights, Carry permit rights, Shooter training, etc. banners appear. Just started this weekend
A monument to poor taste in my opinion.

But aren't the ads automatically served up when a related word is "spotted"?

It's the way google advertising works, you twit.

Was that really necessary? You just had to add that, didn't you.

It depends on the type of pages that you visited recently - so if you visited articles on gun control, on the shootings, etc.... this is why you see the NRA add.

I was doing extensive search yesterday for maternity clothes, so my running ads are actually for pea in the pod, zulilily, viacord, and not sure why Jeep.

Everyone has the right to get their message across. I don't like them but the second amendment defined a a constitutional right and they serve a valid political purpose in advocating for it.

I should add that it is dangerous to create a site where a point of view is excluded. That's the fix news problem IMO. Those that watch it and nothing else miss a lot.

Fox not fix.

OP Here.
I am not perceived by those who know me, report to me, or are my superiors as a TWIT. Nor am I a NERD, who is familiar with Google marketing techniques. So much for solphmoric, infantile Label's
I still perceive, be it Google, or DCUM's failure to filter out this advertising, at this moment in time, as a monument to poor taste.

When you rush to judgement about a perceived situation without any critical thinking or research, you are an alarmist at best, or at very least, a twist. Take your pick.

Judgment. No e. I don't usually play spelling police, but this word is constantly misspelled on these forums.

I don't agree with that statement. They advocate for continued sale of weapons that serve no purpose other than to kill lots of people, usually many innocent people.

Actually it can be spelled either way.

The OP is asking about appropriateness not legality.
