Using FaceTime as a baby monitor

Just thought I'd pass along a great tip...maybe it's obvious but in my sleep deprived state, I thought it was pretty cool.
While traveling to my parents house, I realized I forgot the baby monitor. My brother suggested we use our iPad and his iPhone to do FaceTime and it would serve as a video monitor. We set it up, covered the screen on baby's end ( but made sure the camera was unobstructed), muted it on our end and viola! Instant video baby monitor. Hope that helps some of you! And sorry if I'm just stating the obvious! |
