So sad Ms. G is leaving Kent Gardens

Say it isn't sooooooooo! I got the email that Ms. G is leaving to be an assistant principal elsewhere . I thought she was a great addition to Kent Gardens and so positive and personable.

Any idea who will replace her?

Where is she going? Did the principal say she would be hiring a new AP? Sometimes APs are switched to a different school to give them a different experience.

She's going to Woodburn elementary to be an assistant principal there. Our loss is their gain.

Ms. G was one of my favorite people at KG and it's such a loss! I wish her well, but I also wish she would stay. When I read the email I yelled out "Noooooooooo!" I felt she truly cared about doing what is best for the students and she seemed to genuinely love working at an elementary school. She also was great with parents IMO.

Posting again...there was no mention of hiring a replacement. I just assumed that's how it works, but I guess I was wrong.

We just got a new assistant principal over the summer and there isn't a lot of information yet either. I'm sure they'll hire someone but they don't seem to make a big deal about it.
