Just wanted to post about stretch marks. I've got them on my stomach and hips from 2 pregnancies. I had very dark red marks that looked like a tiger swiped me on each side of my abdomen. I started using Strivectin SD (which I got at Costco) and I have definitely noticed a difference. I can hardly see the marks in dim light now and in the daylight they are pale pink vs. dark red. A definite improvement for me. |
I used it for SMs on my legs years ago and loved it. It was a big improvement and mine were old (from teenage years) when I used it. |
My experience: stuff is ultra-expensive snake oil. YMMV. |
Did you use it twice a day for the necessary time? Expensive, yes. Effective, for me surprisingly yes. |
Did nothing for me. Used it twice a day for months on end. No change. |
I used it last summer right after having my second. Had lots of purplish red stretch marks over my stomach. I did see improvement but I don't know if it was due to Strivectin or time... If you have the money, I say give it a try, but don't expect any miracles. |
Is it better than Mederma? A friend of mine raved about Mederma for stretch marks, so I bought the $40 bottle and used it for about 3-4 months. I don't think it did anything. Stretch marks still there. |
