GI or other doc to help figure out spectracell testing results

Anonymous
I have some neurological problems and my neurosurgeon recommended that I get spectracell testing to look for deficiencies. I got the test back and I have what looks to be many deficiencies. I have IBS type symptoms and now am really starting to think there is something going on with my gut. I want to go to a doctor of some sort that is accustomed to reading and interpreting these spectracell results. Has anyone had this testing before and if so, who helped you formulate a game plan to tackle the deficiencies?

I have never heard of this test, but an orthomolecular doctor seems suitable http://orthomolecular.org/resources/pract.shtml. Or even a registered dietician or nutritionist - this can be a highly specialized field so you may have to ask detailed questions to find the right fit.

pp again. BTW I had numerous health issues for nearly three years, some of them neurological. It was all related to the food and chemicals in my food. And I was eating a well balanced diet....lots of fruits/veggies, very few processed foods and the ones I did eat had the fewest possible simple ingredients. I had to cut out bpa, gluten, soy, glutamates and sulfites. Now I am 110% healthy again. I haven't seen any doctor except my OB/GYN in the past year.

If you contact them at spec1@spectracell.com, they will be able to forward your inquiry and request onto a regional representative who can connect you with a great physician to assist you!
