It's a peculiar thing I know, but I do it. Today in the Post there was a notice for a 39 year old mom who died of breast cancer and left a 6 year old and 2 year old. It kills me just thinking about it.
I read for the causes of death almost as if I can become aware of some of the rarer diseases I could do something to ward them off. Not really rational. I also like reading about the interesting lives some people have. Why do you read them? |
| I read them sometimes. I guess I figure someone loved these people, and it's nice to see what made them so special. |
| I read them because I grew up here, and sometimes I know the people. |
| Off and on. When I was in my 30s I learned of the death of a former boyfriend in an accident this way. Devastating. |
me too |
| I'm an academic. When I was in grad school, I read them to figure what jobs might be on the market. |
| i like to read about people's lives and experiences, so i do read them. every life is special and worthy. |
