Bra Size Increase in Second Pregnancy

How much did your bra size increase in your second pregnancy?

I'm 12 weeks in my second pregnancy. Currently (and pre-pregnancy) I am a 34DD. With my first pregnancy, I started at a 34C (although I was probably actually a 34D). I don't think I went up much above 34DD when pregnant the first time around, but I'm not really sure. I've lost all of the baby weight, but my breasts have remained larger than they were before I got pregnant the first time.

Anyway, I need new bras, but I'm reluctant to spend much on them if they're only going to last a short while. I'm hoping with this pregnancy I won't increase in size too much, but not sure if that's just wishful thinking.

I've only been pregnant once, with twins. I went from a 34B to a 42D. I gained a lot of weight during the pregnancy (they were born in January), and I'm not sure of my bra size now, but it's up there.

I recommend shopping at Target for bras. You'll need a bunch of different sizes, no sense in spending a lot of money.

I've also only been pregnant once, and my bra size went from 34B while pregnant to 34C then 36C. Once I started nursing I was up to a 36D. I'm now at a 36B, 5 months after weaning. So I have amassed quite the collection of bras!

I usually buy Maidenform or Warners on sale from Kohls and with a coupon for even more savings or super cheap from Marshalls/TJ Maxx.

Another option is to buy nursing bras, if you plan to nurse. At least then you'll get more use out of them. I'm in my second trimester of my second pregnancy, and I'm about to start wearing the nursing bras from my first.

My bra size went up more for the first pregnancy than the second because I carried so much higher. I went from a 34 to a 38 and then had to buy those bra extenders that they sell at maternity stores. for my second, I used the 38 maternity bras but did not need the extenders and possibly could have made do with a 36 because I carried so much lower. It's really unpredictable.
