Veggie-friendly restaurant recommendations

Trying to pick a spot for a casual, mid-range weeknight dinner for 6, 3 of whom are vegetarian. Columbia heights/ adams Morgan/ Dupont/ U street/ 14th st areas would work best, and we're open to any cuisine. Any suggestions?

Cafe Green or Raku.

I'm vegetarian - here are a few of my favorites: Merdian Pint, Red Rocks (great happy hour specials before 7:00), Bistro Bohem (Florida and 6th), Lorial Plaza. As long as people aren't vegan - I feel like Mexian and Italian are usually the most univerally appealing cuisines.

Mellow Mushroom in Adams Morgan is delicious and has lots of veg offerings.

You could try open city diner, the diner or tryst if you want that vibe.

Busboys and poets has lots of good veg dishes.

Also, check out this wapo special that came out yesterday:

Actually Meridian Pint and Red Rocks both have vegan options.

OP here - thanks, all! We wanted to go to Estadio but there was an hour-long wait, and, while they apparently take reservations for parties of 6 or more, they only have one table for such groups! So we ended up across the street at Posto, which has a lot of vegetarian options. Food is only ok though, but they get a plus for nice servers who let you linger as long as you like.
