Ready to buy back the White House you mean. Too bad they are wasting their money. If those guys would have to actually earn their money rather than inherit it, they might spend it more carefully.

You mean a few rich people are ready to take back the White House. Almost all of his money was donated by people wealthy enough to give the maximum.

Victory for plutocracy. Only second to the "people-corporations" which will also run completely uncoordinated ads for him.

He's going to need ten times that to even come close.

He's gonna push the Chicago thugs down and cut their hair.

I think you have the wrong idea about the term "thug".

It's not the presence of wealthy people. It's the relative absence of average people. Here are the relative stats I saw at the end of May, and I expect that it has only gotten worse over the last few months. Over half of Obama donors are low dollar donations, ie average people. Over half of Romney donors are clearly rich people.

Obama:

SIZE OF DONATIONS PCT. RANK
Under $200 54% —
$200 to $499 10% —
$500 to $1,499 15% —
$1,500 to $2,499 4% —
$2,500 (maximum) 18% —

Romney:
SIZE OF DONATIONS PCT. RANK
Under $200 15%
$200 to $499 5%
$500 to $1,499 19%
$1,500 to $2,499 5%
$2,500 (maximum) 54%

I have never contributed to political campaigns but I will be giving to Romney because I feel Obama may perminantly weaken and diminish the best country to ever exist on earth .

look as a dem, i find it comical that in 08 we had no problem outraising mccain (and bypassing public funding) by a shit load of money and come 4 years later, we are all up in arms about romney raising more money.

money in politics is insane and the super pac nonsense is absurd. we are in the era of citizens united and right now romney is winning. we dems have every means to raise money via super pacs and to the obama campaign like republicans but we just arent.

its sad that i need to get an email from obama damn near begging me to give him money (and if you are on the list you know im not exaggerating). it is what it is.

If you want to disguise who you are, you should spell check your posts.

Wait, the really really rich guy with friends on Wall Street who is vowing to continue and expand tax cuts for rich people is raising a huge boatload of money from rich people? This fact should surprise no one whatever you think of the two candidates.

This is because the liberals have run out of money and need another stimulas and extended unemployment benefits

If all the unemployed are liberals, why do you care about unemployment at all?

On the other hand, if you want to demonstrate that you don't give two shits about them, be my guest. $10,000 says that Romney agrees with you.
