Am I ever going to get off the waiting list?

| Is July too late to even have a chance of getting of the waiting list for preschools in N Arlington? I applied to a couple and have not heard anything. I do have a backup school but it's a really long drive and one I do not relish doing every single day. Sigh..... |

I don't think it is too late. In the past I have gotten calls for spots in July and August ... I've needed two spots so I've been on wait lists at multiple places for a couple of years. I've even heard back from places in September when someone who had accepted a spot backed out within the first month. It doesn't hurt to call and check in to see where you are on the list.
It's tough. Hang in there. Fingers crossed for you. BTW, my needed for 2 spots increased to 3 spots this past year. I had no hope of getting that many spots but I actually just got a call this week that there are 3 opennings at one of the centers I've been on the wait list. |

| It's definitely not too late. Do you have good waitlist numbers? Lots of people pay for more than one space while hoping for a different place. I just gave up a spot last week in Arlington. |
