| I think the teachers are extremely talented at Longfellow, but I can't seem to get any administrator to return a phone call.... How do you get info?? My daughter's schedule is legitimately screwed up, and I can't get anyone from the counseling dept to help. Anyone else have this problem or found a way through the administrative muck? Also, what's the deal with the website? Information is hard to locate or just not even present, mirroring the overall "don't call us" tone. |
It might help to (a) wait a few days until after the power has been restored and (2) drop by in person. In our experience, the front office at Longfellow was very friendly and helpful. If you'd had kids at another FCPS middle school - as we did - you might think more highly of Longfellow. |

I don't know if this page will help:
http://www.fcps.edu/LongfellowMS/pages/counselingdept.html#LMS Program School just ended two weeks ago and won't start again until September. It may be that people need a bit of a break or are still dealing with power outages. Either way, I wouldn't draw too many conclusions from the fact that people haven't been as responsive recently as you'd like. In general, Carole Kihm runs a tight ship. |
Not sure why you had the results you had, but I had to contact them myself and got a prompt call back. Granted it is early July, so you may have missed someone who is on vacation. What number are you searching for on their web site? I found the numbers I needed, perhaps I can help. |
