Please recommend your movers / moving company (DC)

| We are moving within DC (from Dupont to U St) and are looking for an honest & reliable moving company. We want them to help with packing (our wedding china for example) in addition to actually moving the stuff (beds, couch, etc). I would be grateful for any suggestions / recommendations. TIA |

| Gentle Giant is the best moving company I've ever used by far and I moved every year for a good 8 years while in DC. They packed us for this last move and totally saved our butt's when our military movers bailed the week before. They were awesome and got.shit.done. And FAST. |

| We have moved twice in and around dc and have used all star movers. Packed ourselves, so not sure they do it. |

| We have used both JK and Cathedral. Both great. Neither had any breaks but I pack all my valuables -- especially china myself. DO NOT leave that up to packers. But everything else they packed. |

We have moved five times in 10 years. By far the best movers we had were Town and Country. Came in under estimate and nothing broken. PLus super nice and professional guys.
