Where to buy patio furniture?

Finally getting a nice patio in our yard and in the market for decent patio furniture- table, chairs an umbrella. Want something mid range that is sturdy but not frontgate prices. Thoughts on crate and barrel, Home depot, Offenbachers, others?

We got ours at patio.com in tysons. Yes, a .com store with a brick and mortar building ... kind of opposite.

We like Offenbacher's. We have furniture from over 10 years ago, and they recently were able to look up our files and get us replacement parts from their warehouse when we stopped by their store. They have a wide selection and several stores.

We recently bought a patio set with an umbrella from Sears online. The delivery was quick and my husband put it all together very easily. Love it.

Smith & hawken line at target.

Another vote for Offenbacher's. We spent quite a bit on our furniture, but five years later, it still looks as good as the day it was delivered, even though it sits out year round.

We got ours at Target online. Cost less than $300 for a loveseat, two chairs, and a coffee table. Sturdy, look great (even 3 years later - they are out in the sun all summer). The trick is to wait until the fall sales and buy then. If you buy during summer you'll pay crazy prices.

There's nothing left by fall, pp.

I was just out yesterday looking to replace a table we lost in the storm. Nearly everything is gone. That said, Sears was having some pretty dramatic sales now.

To the OP: World of difference between Offenbacher (where a set will set you back $4k to $5K) and Sears/Home Depot/Penneys, where one will cost on about $500 now.

Try west elm - pottery barn's modern store. Pretty happy with my sectional from there. Less expensive and traditional than PB.

We bought a set from IKEA and it was cheap (less than $400 for table, four chairs, umbrella). It lasted us 4 years -- our rental years.

Now that we're in a home, we bought a table from crate & barrel. Significant improvement in quality and feel - am eager to see how it weathers and holds up!

Drove to Cville last weekend and stopped in at the Plow and Hearth outlet on 29 (south of Culpepper). They had some nice wicker pieces at great prices. If you're interested, probably worth calling to see what they have before making the drive.

We got this set at Sam's Club (don't live in DC anymore) for 890 as it was the floor model and the last one. Love it, it gets crazy windy where we live--we have to keep our grill bolted to the patio--and it's nice and heavy so we don't have to worry about it.

They also had a really nice tilting umbrella that we bought for around $100.
