How does RE support spontaneous pregnancy?

Anonymous
I've started working with an RE and am naturally pregnant 10dpo. I'm on vacation in VA but several hours from Dominion. I'm already on progesterone supplements. Is there any support an RE can give me such that I should head back early? Or is only 10dpo plus already being on progesterone mean there is nothing more to do now?

If it matters, I'm 40 and have encouraging numbers from the RE. I have one child. We decided to keep trying on our own for a while. I have a short luteal phase, one recent miscarriage and one chemical pregnancy.

Nothing more to do. Enjoy your vacation and your positive test.

My RE still did three beta tests to make sure numbers were rising. Then I had two ultrasounds to check growth and heartbeat. Then I went to the OB. If you are on progesterone they will probably keep you on it. Make sure you go in before it runs out.

No rush, as long as you have enough progesterone.

Congrats.

This happened to me twice at Dominion (one was a m/c), current pregnancy I just got released to OB because I saw and HEARD the heartbeat yesterday.

I had a short luteal phase as well and some minor male factor stuff. Just call when you get back and tell them that you're pregnant and need to come in for a beta.

So they will monitor your beta every other day until it reaches 2000 and then they'll schedule you with an ultrasound to make sure its in your uterus and developing appropriately and will release you when you see/hear a heartbeat. Progesterone continues till week 10 I believe. Congrats to you - great fourth of july surprise!!
