I'm travelling but tried to call home, just to get an error by the phone company. Is that because the power went out of because FIOS is down?

I live in oak hill, va (near south Reston).

Fios has a battery back up that will last a bit but after that it will have to wait for commercial power.

We never lost power. Our Internet never lost connection, yesterday we had cable box guide info but no signal until late afternoon and our phone is still out today.

Our FIOS phone was out half the day after the power and internet was restored. Started working this morning.
