4th of July! What are you making?

What's everyone having/serving for Independence Day?

I'm bringing s'mores on a stick:

and chocolate covered pretzels dipped in sprinkles:

and probably some chips & salsa or a skinny taco dip:

I've made this berry tart for the past few years for July 4th. It is out of this world--almond crust, marscapone, cream. Mmmmmm.

A sandwich for lunch at work.

Love the smores on a stick, OP!

Mine are little and like to be part of the proccess, so we'll probably make an american flag cake: simple rectangular white cake, whipped cream frosting, strawberries for red stripes and blueberries for the blue and white section.

Steaks and either chocolate cream pie or homemade ice cream. I still need to figure out the sides.

Thank you! I'm going to a party and everyone's bringing a little something. Thought they were cute.

grilled fresh summer corn

and Crumbs cupcakes for dessert.

And lots of wine and beer!!!

We did sort of a Caribbean theme - grilled steaks with lime-garlic marinade, black beans and rice, and grilled pineapple. Came out fantastic! My kids (age 7 and 14 months) particularly loved the beans and rice.
