Combination of antidepressants and BC

I've been taking Zoloft for several months for anxiety/depression and have since stopped nursing. I'm thinking about starting birth control pills, which I've never taken before. Now that I'm not nursing, I imagine I have more options for antidepressants. Just wondering if anyone has had any particular problems or successes with a combination of AD and the pill. Obviously will see what the drs say, but just curious. Thanks.

Both AD (SSRIs Paxil, Zoloft, Prozac) and BC pills kill the libido. I would ask the Dr. for one of the AD that is not an SSRI or one that is known to have fewer side effects. I would do the same thing for the BC, maybe one of the newer pills or the ring or something else would be better.

Ive taken Zoloft with BC and didn't have problems. I wasn't really wanting to change the Zoloft because it works for me and the last thing I want to do is screw with my anxiety level.
