My teen is looking to make some extra summer cash (Falls Church area)

Hello Dcurbanmom readers,
I have a very bright 13 year old and she has ask me to help her find a small summer gig. She loves to do arts and crafts with children, read, paint, Loves pets.

I think she would be great help for stay at home mom's looking for an extra set of hands or even if you have errands to run.

We live in the Falls church area by Pine Spring Elementry

Please let me know if any one has any other idea[/b][/b]s

She could advertise on the local elementary school list serv to help kids get their summer math and reading packets done. My son did this for several years for 8-10 dollars an hour.

She can put up flyers and post on the neighborhood listserv about walking dogs, caring for pets in their owners' absence, watering plants, working as a mother's helper, helping an elderly person. I'm quite sure she could be kept very busy!
